D. CITIZEN APPEARANCES » - The City Council invites citizens to address the Council on any topic not already scheduled for Public Hearing. Citizens wishing to speak should complete a "Citizen Comment Card" and present it to the City Secretary or return to the Ambassador table prior to the meeting. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the City Council cannot take action on items not listed on the agenda. However, your concerns may be addressed by City Staff, placed on a future agenda, or responded to by some other course. Speakers are limited to 3 minutes.

Consider making and approving a nomination to cast DeSoto's vote for the runoff election of the Suburban Cities' Representative to the Dallas Central Appraisal District Board of Directors and authorizing the Mayor to submit an Official Runoff Ballot Resolution for the approved nominee. (Nominees are Mr. Michael Hurtt and Mr. Brett Franks)
